Breckenridge Kitchen Update
A mountain kitchen got a rich, updated look — cabinets and a center island refinished in a deep espresso tone and paired with granite, all set off against natural slate floors.
Not every kitchen needs to be torn out. Here the layout and bones were solid, so the update focused on transforming the finishes: refinishing the cabinetry and island in place, protecting the existing slate floors and countertops throughout, and leaving the space looking dramatically warmer without the cost and disruption of a full remodel.
Refinished in place
We masked and protected the floors and counters, pulled and labeled the cabinet doors, and refinished everything on site so the kitchen stayed intact through the process.
Down to the last cabinet
Every surface was finished to match, from the island to the perimeter cabinetry, so the whole kitchen reads as one cohesive, updated space.
